I decided to let him have a party with his friends this year & it went SO well. You could not of asked for a better behaved group of kids.
Watching & discussing Pokemon
Playing Wii Sports
Gameboys!
Guitar Hero (these boys are better at it then me & Tristan!)
Chloe's party was low key.
The parties were a great distraction after the previous week.
On February 17th my dad passed away. No, not my biological dad, but Champ (my step-dad). After him & my mom divorced for the 2nd time he started drinking again. Then he decided to quit taking some of the medications he had been on for almost 20 years. He started having seizures a few months ago. He had been staying with a friend and when he didn't get up in the morning they went to wake him up & found him. There wasn't an autopsy done, but I think he had a bad seizure in his sleep. It will take some time, but we'll be ok. Right now it kinda feels like we're in between phone calls. It hits me when I come up with a reason to call
him & realize I can't.
Since November I've been getting this pain right below my ribcage. I had talked to Dad about it & he said it might be kidney stones & told me to drink more water. I did and the pain left for a little while. But on the 21st (after Cameron's party) it came back with a vengeance. We went into the doctor & after a few tests and an ultrasound they figured out it was my gallbladder. Usually a gallbladder attack is brought on by fatty foods, but not mine! It's genetics! Lucky me huh? I got my grandmother's eye sight and gallbladder problems! She says my appendix is next to go. The doctor took my gallbladder out on Thursday & I'm recovering with lots of help from
Tristan and my family & friends.
